EAR CLEANING AND WAX REMOVAL SERVICES

  • EAR WAX REMOVAL

    Whether you need regular ear cleaning or just a one-off ear wax removal service, our friendly team can help. We use microsuctioning for ear wax removal. Appointments take around 20 minutes and cost $50.

  • BLOCKED EARS

    If your ear is feeling blocked, book in with our ear cleaning clinic and we can check to see what is going on. If you need ear wax removal, we can do that for you. If it is not wax causing the problem, we can get you booked in with our audiology team for further investigation.

  • REFERRALS

    If we check your ears and it turns out that wax isn’t the problem, we can advise and refer as part of the service. This may be to our audiology team or the ENT service.

USING OIL IN YOUR EARS

When you book a wax removal appointment with us, we will ask you to apply oil in your ears 1-2 days before your appointment.

This helps to soften any wax that is in your ear, making it easier to remove.

Carly shows us how to safely use oil in our ears, to soften wax ahead of an appointment.

before your appointment:

  • 1-2 days before your appointment, apply cooking oil in your ear.

    Use 2-3 drops of oil per ear.

    Lie on the opposite side for 5-10 minutes to allow the oil to soak in.

  • Avoid using Waxsol, Cerumol, or any over the counter softening treatments.

    If you have used any over the counter treatments, please STOP and use cooking oil instead.

  • Please note that the charge for ear wax removal is $50.

    If ear wax removal is not needed, a consultation fee of $20 will be charged.
